Please view this at FULL SIZE. In this case the devil is literally in the details!

This started with my self-imposed modelling challenge to build a fountain pen ([link]). Which then led on to thoughts about in what kind of situations such a pen would be used... then (not sure how) to the idea of a pen filled with something other than ink... and the rest, as they say, is history.

All objects* modelled in Wings3D. Rendered in Bryce 5.5. Documents created in Word and Inkscape.

Thanks to: *tharaka for permitting me to use a tiny part of his wonderful photo of my home town, Melbourne ([link]), for the out-of-window scene.

Also thanks again to vicissitude_stock: [link] for the wood texture.

Hope you like this, and that no one is offended by my tongue-in-cheek presentation of a very old story.

* all models except one, a figure from DAZ, which may take a little finding...

It makes me think of the several things in the form of phrases... Sell your soul, corperational sin and my personal favourite... Sign in blood...

That was surprising when I took a closer look at the details. I first assumed "Okay, that's a normal picture of a desk," but when I looked closer, I was kinda shocked. Mephistopheles, devil-stars, and a reflection of a demon on the digital clock.

Is the person involved in selling his soul to the devil?

Read the fine print of the end of the contract (it IS readable in Full View) and note the addressee of the letter.
